The Sun Still Shines by ShabbyChicPrincess The Sun Still Shines by ShabbyChicPrincess
Entering into the biggest natural wonder contest:[link] :)
Even if it's waaaaay too cold for any living creature to...be.
I went tromping around through four foot tall snow drifts for an hour...I think the cold weather has finally broken me in. It didn't hurt too much :P
I guess there is one good thing about our winters though, they make for pretty skies. And they kill all the big bugs! So maybe two >.<
I can hardly blame the bugs though, what wants to survive somewhere where the winter lows are -50F *sob* Not me!

Off topic, but this actually in the middle of town, right next to my elementary school. Right off each edge of the pic is my school, and on the other edge, manyyyyy houses. But this doesn't really look it, huh?

Wow, it looks like you took this in the middle of nowhere! The sky looks so pretty, and I love how the sun makes the two closest pine trees glow. :meow:

Cold weather makes you tough right? ^^ The coldest temperature that I have had in Belgium is -20, and then they close our schools because of the cold weather ;o

But I adore your shot. The clouds are very perfect and the sun has such a nice color ^^

Only if it doesn't kill you first >.> Uffdah...
The person who decides on snow days for my school district doesn't have any children in the the schools, and seems to think we're invincible. We're lucky if we get 1 snow day a year. He's had us sent to school during blizzards :(

Thank you!

To be fair...that's including windchill. I'm afraid no North Pole for me, but I sure would love to live with santa! (unless he tried to turn me into an elf. Then there would be no more santa.) Or Alaska for that matter, did you know they "pay" people to live there? (I'm not sure if it's no taxes, or actually sending out checks, but I think the latter)
I think I deserve hazard pay for this weather!
